Our Vision & Purpose

Build a nurturing community-based Youth Choir, where young people of high school age can enjoy singing together and share in joint interests and improve wellbeing

Our mission is simple but powerful

We believe that every student deserves the chance to find their voice, and we are working to remove the barriers that often stand in their way.

By championing the power and benefits of group singing, we aim to open up music and performance opportunities for young people who lack access to choirs and/or extracurricular music activities.

HYC members will

• Develop music & vocal skills, knowledge and ability

• Gain confidence

• Improve well-being
